The Arts The Metro-Manhattan (NY) Chapter of the Links, Incorporated partners with art institutions to support artists of color and talented teens, expose young people to various art forms, and help to preserve the rich artistic culture of Harlem. The signature program for this facet is the Mama Foundation.
The Mama Foundation
The Metro-Manhattan (NY) Chapter of the Links, Incorporated partners with the Mama Foundation for The Arts which trains young singers through its Gospel for Teens program. Through this partnership, The Arts works with 15 young singers each year to provide them with mentoring workshops that focus on personal enhancement, youth development, and educational and career opportunities. We provide financial support to the Gospel for Teens program which is tuition-free and expose our students to theater, museums, dance, and cultural events.
